They are easy to put on and very light. They don't offer much in terms of arch support, but neither do they claim to. They are shaped so that the heel is over the toes, providing some buoyancy. I ordered 8.5 and they sent me size 39 which is size 9. They're roomy, just like a size 9. I'll be wearing them with thick socks this fall and they'll be perfect.
