I was originally going to use this as a USB-C hub for my phone. I love using a USB DAC with it (Android is great with USB audio devices!) but I also wanted to use it with my Nintendo Switch. I have another "big T" adapter that works great with it, so I was hoping this one would do the same. DeX works well with my phones at 1080p if the monitor or TV supports HDCP (this is the security protocol for HDMI; some monitors don't). Unfortunately, after experimenting with multiple power adapters and multiple TVs, it does NOT support Nintendo Switch output as advertised. The switch seems to think it's connected (turns off the screen, only shows the battery indicator), but the HDMI signal never gets through. I am sorry; this suggests false advertising and definitely lowers its value and overall ranking. Please be careful!
