This air mattress does exactly what it was designed to do. And one child who used it found it very comfortable. And he didn't lose air for 4 days. The included pump makes inflation easy, but there was a problem with deflating. The valve has a silicon flap that deflates on inflation and the back pressure causes it to successfully spring back over the port when the pump is removed to prevent air from escaping (before the protective cap is screwed on). The instructions say to move this valve down to release air, but the valve will not slide. It's articulated and has a completely different design than the instructions say. Therefore, the pump cannot be used to pump air out of the mattress. This tightens the flap and blocks the air outlet. I ended up having to fight with the mattress and hold the valve out of the way to push the air out. It took quite a while and he wasn't as good at evacuating as the pump. Disappointed with this feature but otherwise satisfied. But I would give 5 stars for that.
