Review on 🔐 Rothco 80mm Secure Lock Accessory Carabineer by Ken Reed

I bought this item for $4 because I need it for very light use; In fact, I didn't need it to support any weight, just to keep the latch closed. The item I received is pretty much what I expected: it's very light, looks very simple, and has a nut to keep it "locked". That's exactly what I wanted from him, but I wouldn't trust him much more. This item is lightweight and easy to put on and take off when needed. I've kept it outside where it's been exposed to the elements since I received it and haven't had any issues. it's still as functional as it was when I got it. The lock nut serves its purpose well; It is strong enough to hold the latch closed and is easy to screw on and off. While this probably won't work well in a heavier application, it does an excellent job of simply holding things in place. You have to put it where you need it. I shot everything that was slanted and had no problems with it. It still spins up and down easily. All in all it's a decent product for very light applications. The $4 price I paid is on the higher end of what it costs, but I'm happy with that.
