Filters the air, smart function is not that efficient.

I really like that this device brings fresher air to my home office. Being able to use my phone to set things up and check status sounded great. Only great when it works. More on that later. The block design seems to be built pretty well. It's lightweight but fairly durable. I like that it looks more like a rectangle/square and is taller rather than wider. Helps get into smaller spaces. The air filter flap is well made and easy to open. If the device is on and you open the door, it will turn off for security reasons. The filter has a handy pull out table, I thought it was a good idea. The buttons are hidden when off and glow when on, which is nice. The black panel does show fingerprints though, so be careful. The LCD screen isn't too bright and has a multicolored ring for air quality and a number that shows the amount. The overall aesthetics of the device are great. Unfortunately, the technological part does not work. Being tech-savvy, I've had my fair share of hastily tech. The app (running Android) only replies half the time, half of it in English, and the printed instructions don't follow the procedure. I couldn't get it to work on my wifi after about 6 tries in a week. Even if it's near my router, it doesn't work. If WiFi is nice but not a requirement, then I think this device is pretty good. If you need a smart feature, look elsewhere.
