Lots of jewelry

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter who has Down Syndrome. She doesn't have a phone yet, so this is her travel device. Even though the case covers all the buttons of your iPod, it is still very easy to use. I've had instances in the past where it was difficult to turn the case on and off or adjust the volume. It covers the iPod well, but I like that the Apple badge is open on the back so you can still see the color of the iPod. It may seem silly, but if you buy a colored iPod and then put it in a case, you kind of lose the fun of your chosen color. We bought a pink iPod and it matches the case color perfectly. I was also surprised by the shine of the case. You can see it in the picture but you don't get how much "bling" it really adds to the case. Although it doesn't have a stand (which I wanted but couldn't find in a suitcase), the case is textured enough to stand up if you put it on something on a table. There is usually a salt shaker or something that can be used. I also bought a glass cover for the iPod and it doesn't interfere with the case. I like how the front of the case covers the edges of the display lid. My other daughter doesn't and she plays with it and finds it annoying. It makes the iPod thicker, but I don't mind. We didn't drop the product, but I'm more concerned about her iPod's protection than the thin case, and she's used to thicker cases.
