The overall idea behind this product is great. The problem lies in the production. I'm sure Alertcam could do a better job of powering the camera. (Trail) WEATHER PROTECTION? 1 star. EASY INSTALLATION 1 star. Even so, you should try to reinforce the tape before installing it as it is slightly thicker than cassette tape. See photos before and after. I found this very problematic. It would be nice to adopt a better design from Alertcam or Arlo. The battery compartment and the inner housing of the camera also had to be modified. After looking at a few customer reviews, I wondered if real product testing had been done on this product.
