At first I thought it was much darker and deeper than on stock photos. I don't mind, because I personally like dark turquoise very much. Of course, I'm still waiting for my iPad mini to be delivered and shipped, so I'll update this review once I get a chance to test it properly. So far I'm pleasantly surprised at how strong it seems. The magnets are solid and strong and appear to support the Mini with no issues, but time will tell how the build quality will hold up to the overtime. I love that the case has an Apple Pencil slot as my OCD is constantly afraid of losing it in public. Although this slit slightly increases the width of the product, I have no problem holding it with one hand (palm). For the record, I'll say that I have medium-sized male hands (I can't handle a basketball). I hope this review helps as I'm sure many of those still waiting for their pre-orders are looking for accessories. EDIT September 25, 2021: I received my iPad yesterday and had a day to get a feel for this case. Overall, this is a very durable case that offers a lot more protection if you drop it than something like the Smart Folio, but it's also not as bulky as military-grade cases. It feels good, is easy to pick up and carry, and the pencil case...is fine. The nice thing is that I can "maneuver" the iPad; Just pick it up and walk away without thinking about the pencil you might "push" to the page on other occasions. There are definitely some downsides to this though, as the stylus is more fiddly to insert and remove (no satisfying magnetic click) and it can sometimes be difficult to position it properly for charging. Mine also has a slight bulge in the pencil pocket area which I'm pretty sure is a manufacturing defect which you can see in the last photo. Now the biggest takeaway about this case: the flap does NOT attach to the back of the iPad with a magnet. It will literally just flap in the wind, which really annoys me when I really want to use an iPad. It makes me want to just take it out of its case to use it, which kind of defeats the purpose. Now that it was very annoying at first that I probably sent the product back completely, I have found a small solution. Folding the flap into a triangle essentially gives you a handle for portrait use. I see it as a pro for those with smaller hands who can't hold an iPad mini as the mini's bezels are small. However, this doesn't work well for landscape use and is disappointing. Personally I will continue to try different cases and if I find a better alternative to this I will update this review again.
