Does exactly what it promises. I bought this to protect my daughter's iPhone in her backpack. I routed the cable through the headphone hole built into the front and attached it to the back of her iPhone. Now she can use her phone when she needs to (after school), but it never leaves her backpack and child thieves can't easily take it from her. She also can't just put it in her bag or take it out whenever she wants, so hopefully she won't abuse it at school - the goal is that she can use it after school.
