I wanted the carafe to be thin, hold 50 ounces and fit snugly in my fridge. Despite all the concerns about BPA, chemical spills from containers, and other foods, I could rest assured that the fluid I was drinking on a daily basis wasn't contributing. The only thing that bothers me is the handle. Will he endure being pushed over time? Also, I wish the lid had a solid part on the other side to completely block spills.
