This stand is a fantastic product! A must for a distance teacher like me. Given the need to teach hands-on skills during the pandemic, I needed a flexible platform to record various demos. Although originally intended for a mic stand, I can use it with an action cam to raise my hands in demos and combined with a KDD phone and tablet mount I can use it to record presentations while standing! The aluminum and ABS construction feels solid, and the product is cleverly packaged with rubber pads to protect the table top, a swivel mount, and threaded adapters that allow you to use anything from standard mic clips to cameras! The kit also includes several Velcro straps to securely attach the microphone cables to the stand. It's strong enough to hold a full-size tablet without worrying about breakage. Given that durability, this stand will have no problem supporting whatever mic you place on it. Serrated pivot points provide a secure, secure closure that won't slip. This kit will definitely see widespread use this semester and for years to come.
