Because I walk and take the subway to and from work, I wear sneakers and then put on work shoes in the office. I switched from business lace-up shoes to elegant loafers a long time ago. I wanted to replace my black tassel loafers and took the risk mainly because of the expected comfort. However, I found them too tight. I think part of the problem is the foam footboard. While it's comfortable, it's also thicker than I expected. As a result, the tips of my toes feel pressed against the underside of the tongue and toe box. I decided to keep the shoes because they didn't hurt, they just pinched and I'm sure they will loosen up over time. But having just read all the previous reviews it looks like there is a good chance the shoe will stretch due to the seams failing. Damn.
