This review refers to Mia's cosmetic mirror. This is a double sided mirror which is on the smaller side for a vanity mirror. One side has the usual 1x magnification and the other side has a nice 10x magnification. The mirror rotates 360 degrees so you can quickly switch between two different magnifications. Both sides of the mirror have a ring of LED light around it that emits light with a color temperature of 6000K (in the daylight range), but to be honest the light seems rather weak for a vanity mirror. We expected it to be a bit brighter and there is no brightness adjustment. The LED lights require 3 AA batteries, which are not included, and are turned on and off with a switch on the base of the lamp. The lamp has a beautiful chrome finish and there are 4 pieces of rubber on the underside of the base that hold the mirror so it slides on the table top. In terms of dimensions, the overall size is about 11.5 inches as stated in the description, but the reflective part of the mirror is absolutely NOT 6 inches. Its diameter is only 4.5 inches, so it looks a bit small. The other 1.5 inches is actually a ring of light and a metal surround around the mirror. So don't read the description and think you will get a 6 inch reflective mirror surface. Overall this is a beautiful lamp with very high quality glass. a mirror, but again, the LED backlight isn't very bright and can't be adjusted, and it's small at just 4.5 inches of reflective mirror surface.
