We bought these to put on our existing king bed. Our bed is very hard and we are approaching the age where we can feel it when we get up in the morning. We need support, but we need a cushion layer. It offers the comfort we were looking for and being only 2 inches thick there is no reduction in stiffness under our mattress. We sleep longer and wake up more refreshed. This is a high quality foam. We don't like "memory". Foam due to the occasional feeling of being stuck in the mattress is non-existent here. We recommend!
