Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Ultimate Comfort: Translucent Reusable Silicone Breathing Accessory by Kris Martin

The size is much smaller than expected

Update: yes. This is too little. I don't know of any adult with such a small face that could fit in this "adult" mask. I have to adjust all the time because it's either going down a lot on my chin and under my nose or going up a lot on my nose and in my mouth. In theory that's a good idea, but in practice it doesn't mean that particular product. The photos are completely deceiving! Old review: They are quite small. I don't have a small face, but it's definitely not huge, especially for the length, so I was really surprised that it didn't cover the entire bottom half of my face. It fits perfectly in my mask (the mask is quite large for me), but the silicone has to sit under my nose. Haven't had a chance to use it extensively yet, but I hope it won't be a problem. I have a Monroe piercing and if it keeps sticking to it while talking or yawning I definitely need to get it back. However, they 100% help remove the mask from my face. Every time I breathed in or spoke in front of this insert, it felt like using a paper bag during a panic attack. It was like breathing tissue instead of air. This made it difficult to breathe and speak, and as I work in a hospital I need to do both, preferably with comfort and ease. It offers structure and calm, so I really hope I don't have to return it. Note, however, that this may not be as comfortable under a tight-fitting mask. I feel this puts a lot of pressure on the face/nose and ears as the mask is pushed forward.

Pros
  • Warm tips. Using double-sided tape or string to attach the silicone frame to the mask can improve the performance of the mask.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
