I had high hopes for them at first but immediately sent them back. Silicone is ideal for food, odorless and tasteless. That's the only good thing about them other than looks. What you need to know is that they don't fit in all pockets and aren't that difficult to take off, so you'll almost certainly have kids who know how to take them off. the lid is attached to the lid which is also a real pain and makes it very easy to remove the lid. The worst thing they are hiding from you on the list is that they have a flow control valve, which means there is a thick piece of silicone over the hole. It would be nice if they cut it 4 ways you know in a plus shape, but instead they make a tiny vertical gap in the hole making it impossible for your child to get food out. In fact, they have to squeeze so hard that the bag explodes like a bomb and takes on any wear and tear. I thought the ones I got were defective and tried applesauce the bag was so heavy to get even a drop of food and then it exploded applesauce even splattered the walls and I'm an adult , so imagine the kid trying. good idea bad product
