Review on LSE Lighting Compatible 140020 001 R ActivTek: Premium Quality Air Purification Solution by Hector Watkins

Worked great. Just replace!

Worked great. The UV lamp is now on. The bulbs sent were identical to those already in my units. The air conditioner guy wanted $700 to replace my two lights. All I had to do was unscrew the air cleaner unit and then loosen the two screws that attach to the honeycomb. I had a red rubber washer around the base of the bulb on the inside. He shook the bulb until he pulled it out. Don't push it too hard because you don't want to break the old bulb. I also had a piece of black styrofoam to support the light. I found it easiest to connect the bulb first, then place the foam in the back of the unit, and finally place the honeycomb horizontally again to keep the foam in place. I screwed everything back on and the UV lamp worked again. So easy and saved a lot of money. I can't believe the air conditioning companies charge extra for replacements. Replacing just the bulb is more difficult than replacing the entire cell site and took about 5 minutes each. We'll see how long the bulbs last, but so far I'm very satisfied. My ActiveTek Induct 2000 air purifiers.
