I have 3 pairs of Cloos glasses and with a few exceptions am mostly a fan of the brand so I ordered them with some reservations. They arrived and I have to say that I was very pleased and very happy with their appearance. I have a slightly small face so I was uncomfortable reading a reviewer who said they were too big. Yes they are big but even on my small face they look sharp but great. The ones I have are transparent so maybe they could look more massive if they were a darker color. The first time I wore it, a stylish co-worker made an effort to complete the look, which gave me a thumbs up in forming my opinion. The loops have an outer edge which, while not as forgiving as I expected, is enough to ensure nothing kinks when tightening. The quality of the lenses seems good and I find them effective if you intend to use these lenses as a blue light blocker, especially if you use your computer screen for most of the day or night. They have a striking yellow tinge. My intention, if I liked the frames, was to put in prescription lenses to correct my reading slightly, which I was still able to do. I believe that's how they're marketed, for a reason. Google Luxotica if you want to understand the eyewear market. They bought up most of the brands you know, including designer names, and eyewear and sunglass stores. So if you've ever wondered why prescription glasses can quickly cost over 500 euros and sunglasses made from simple materials can cost several hundred, then that's because one company dominates the entire industry. I think selling a premium brand as blue color blockers allows them to enter the market unnoticed. Why a molded piece of plastic should cost so much strikes me as odd, although for some reason not obvious to the average person we tend to think of it as normal. But compared to other designer glasses, they are inexpensive and of the same quality. So I give them a positive rating and wear them almost every day as I also consider them eye protection rather than wearing a bulky face shield during these protective times.
