Review on ๐Ÿ”’ Waterproof SlimFold Minimalist RFID Wallet for Men - Essential Wallets, Card Cases & Money Organizers by Jonathan Devarapalli

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's basically a big improvement over my old leather wallet.

My leather wallet was also double wide so when closed it would be two credit cards wide, just like this one. But loaded with cards, it was almost twice as thick (32mm versus 17mm). Every time I pick it up, I'm amazed at how thin and light it is. I have 20 cards in it and it works, but I think it would be more convenient with a multi-sided transparent card insert (**See update below**). However, this would probably add too much thickness if it couldn't be made from very thin mylar. That way I can find and remove the card I want pretty easily, as long as I remember where I put it. With a transparent case, it is immediately visible and easy to find. But if you only have about 8 cards, this is perfect. (See update below) I also find the money slot a bit tight. Difficult to use it far enough to sift through the bills and find the right one. And I also miss the separator in my old wallet that I used to separate 20 from 1, 5, and 10. It just made it more organized and convenient. But despite those missing features, I'm willing to trade them all for the convenience of such a thin wallet. Update: After a few weeks of use I have some more impressions. Turns out I don't miss the transparent card insert. It's easy to find and remove the card you want. My only remaining complaint is that it doesn't open wide enough to scan the bills I need. If I have a bunch of 20s, 5s, and 1s in my wallet and want to pull out $6, I have to pull practically everything out of the wallet and shuffle the bills in my hands. If the wallet opened a little wider, maybe had a rubber band around the edges, I could find the bills inside the wallet. It sounds like a small thing, but it's a little annoying. But every time I pick it up, I'm amazed at how thin and light it is. 4 month update: I like it. Thin, fits the hand very well. My brother got the Tyvek version. It's definitely thinner, but I like the feel and durability of this version. Absolutely no wear and tear. 14 month update: still looks like new. The material wears incredibly well. My brother replaced his Tyvek version within 6 months as it was badly worn by then. I still love this one. The best wallet I've ever had. 4 years later: still looks like new! I'm sure if I held a new one next to it I could see some changes, but they're not obvious. Corners, seams, fabric, everything is in its original form. That's a great wallet.
