Review on 🎧 Sony MDR-AS20J/WHI Active Style Headphones: Comfortable White Headphones with Soft Loop Hangers by Maria Hanson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love her. but not at the current price

ok first of all the current price of over 45€ is a COMPLETE rip off. Last time I bought them (2013) they were $15.12! Well, as my star rating shows, I thought these were great headphones at $15 and am considering them at THIS price as I would treat them differently if I paid triple what people are paying now. comfortable to wear, i like that they wrap completely around the ear so it takes very quick to accidentally detach them. If you accidentally hang the line on something, they will definitely fly; but I would rather have ripped my ear off. I sweat quite a bit and personally I've never experienced the problems others have with moisture shorts. I accidentally stepped on them a couple of times and while there was some damage they are easily repaired. I stepped on it once and the speaker came out of the case and was just dangling from the cord. I just had to carefully reattach it and it still sounded good. When I stepped on it another time, the red ring moved up and the silver part cracked a little right where the ear hook goes in. I simply put the loop back in place, pinched the tear and moved the red ring back down to hold it. closed and then glued in the ring. The sound isn't amazing by any means, but for the $15 I paid for it, I thought it was a really good price. The bass isn't great, but I prefer a crisper, higher pitched tone anyway (and I realize that what constitutes "good" sound is a matter of opinion). I can listen with the iPhone fully powered on and there is no crackling or distortion. For the best sound, the speaker eartips should be fully seated in the ear. With a lot of movement, the headphones will start to move and the speaker will pop out a bit. You can still hear it, but it will sound softer. I've never had much success keeping the standard earbuds in my ears, so I'd rather just occasionally adjust while they're still in my ear than have them pop out/pop out completely every 2 minutes and have to transplant them completely . .I really hope the prices will be more reasonable. I am sure that my danger-prone personality will step on them too often and they will be irreparable. If that happens I definitely want to get another pair. but not for $45+.
