In a way it's better. Much thinner and lighter

This looks like a Kensignton Blackbelt case so I'll compare it to that. In a way it's better. It's much thinner and lighter. The corners are folded over to make it easier to slide out of the bag instead of hanging on the sides. The power off is also better aligned. It's worse, however, in that it offers slightly less protection overall and the underside feels cheaper. The corner next to the power cut also offers little protection. It's very thin and feels out of place when you put your hand on it because it will slide around like there's no protection at all. Like I said, it's half the price. Personally, I chose the Kensington because the bottom bar and bottom right corner felt cheap to the touch. It slips every time you pick it up when using it as a tablet. I have also tried many other cases. UAG had a similar issue with the bottom right corner. The smooth Trident armor felt best, but the stand was utterly useless.
