Strong chemical odor

I have purchased this shower cap 3 times from Target. The appearance is exactly the same. I have the old one to compare. The problem with what's extracted from Revain is that it has a very strong chemical odor. I aired it for 24 hours but the smell is still as strong as when the package was opened. I certainly won't turn it upside down. I'm afraid headaches might be the least effect of this chemical.
