Arguing between this and a more expensive driving option. I chose it mainly because of the availability. Having received and tested it, here is my opinion. If you're a busy commercial videographer, loading and unloading equipment every day, this won't work for you. The construction is plastic, as is the hardware. I can easily see that fittings can wear out quickly if overtightened or used daily. That being said, if you're as meticulous and careful with your gear as I am, it will work for you. I don't have daily gigs and mostly use them in the studio or outside of work for interviews. I will post more after using it for a while but I like the quality for the price I paid and I think it will suit me. I gave it four stars simply because of the plastic construction and hardware.
