I have this adapter to connect my switch to my single computer monitor. it works, but needs some tweaking. I wish the cable was a little longer than VGA, so I have an AmazonBasics Thunderbolt cable. This one barely fits on the back of the Switch and I have a feeling it's going to wear out quickly. I have an HP W2071d monitor and when I first connected it to the switch I got an error message that the image quality had changed. Not sure if it fits my monitor (kinda old) or others, but the max quality I can set is 720p, not the max 1080 the switcher can handle. Also note that if the image doesn't fit the screen, go to your monitor settings and image controls and manually adjust where you want the projection to be (the original image was small and not centered and after the adjustment it took up about 99% of my screen ) maybe I wouldn't have this problem if I was the other way around (VGA to HDMI), but there's still good picture quality. The audio jack works great too. Plug in your speakers or headphones and you're good to go. Overall, my issues stem more from user error than the product.
