Bought for 20 month old twins and it's a hit! Great durable quality and the train rolls smoothly on carpet. It doesn't make any noise, so if you need a click or electronics, look elsewhere. The only small thing I would change is to add a bead or some sort of small handle to the cord. I tied some rings. So far I'm happy to report that it's enough for one to pull and the other to watch - unthinkable in my house with two babies! They usually want what the other has. I am very happy with all of the Melissa and Doug toys that we have purchased.
