thin material tears easily

I like the look of these fringes, but it's a very flimsy, flimsy material that tears easily. When hanging up, individual threads came loose and then the upper part of one of the two "curtains" tore. I had to glue it again. It could also be improved if each curtain had a double layer of threads. With just a coat, it doesn't look as lush as it could. It's fine for one-time use, but don't expect to use it again.
