Works, but. best in bark Collars

We just wanted to set this collar to vibrate because our big dog is going crazy, barking and jumping every time we take out the trash or come to the door. We tried putting a leash on him around the house and stepping on him when he started going crazy, but we just taught him to stay far enough away from us so we couldn't step on the leash. So we got this collar in the hopes that a simple vibration would snap him out of his madness. It works, but the direction was wrong (at least on our collar) so I deducted a star for that. Here are the REAL instructions: To turn on/off, press the big yellow button. This button also makes adjustments from 1 to 7, but does not adjust anything. This is where the directions go wrong. You do NOT use this button to set the level. To adjust the level, there's a small "knob" labeled M that looks like it's just a mounting point for the USB cover. This is actually the button you have to use to select the level. You can choose between 0 (vibrate only) and 7. So, to set up this collar, you need to charge it. Then press the big yellow button to turn it on. We installed Level 4 out of the box. As such, you will likely want to customize this. I would definitely start with 0, which means vibration only, as one vibration is probably enough to snap a dog out of the madness they're indulging in. To adjust the level when the collar is on, press the small white button. marked M (M for mode?) which is next to the USB port and looks like an anchor for the port cover. When you click on it, the numbers will change, so just scroll through the numbers until you reach the level you want. Preferably 0. At least initially. That's probably enough. It was with our dog. Then just remember to take off the collar overnight and charge it again. came/went through the door. Otherwise he is (more or less) a perfect dog. We may end up having to put on a 'fake collar' once he has it all figured out as the collar alone might be enough to give him better control over himself. Of course, the leash only taught him to stay about 6 feet away from us. Ultimately we'll see if he can figure out that going insane is just not acceptable, even if it's just for 5 minutes.
