Honest Review for PC

When I first got the controller I was blown away by all the customization options you had right out of the box. The 3 sets of weights you can add to the controller make a huge difference (I liked using 10kg), along with beaded joysticks and adjustable stem sizes to reduce turning radius. The controller is of course built like a traditional Xbox controller and its firm, ergonomic grip is better than that of the DS4. While the buttons on the back were a little shallower than we'd like, they were fairly easily accessible and quickly reassigned to almost any button on the controller without additional software. The battery life is what I expected and matches the DS4, around 8 hours. I also used different lighting functions so if I leave it on default it might take longer. The customization features you get by pairing it with the Nacon software are amazing. You can change the lighting settings, change the sensitivity of the triggers and joysticks, change the button assignments for every button, not just the back buttons, and to top it off you can load 4 separate profiles, each with its own settings. Now for that reason I got my controller back. I enjoy using the headset whether it's connected to a receiver or to a controller. However, this controller compresses the microphone of all headsets enough that no one you're talking to can hear you. I tried several headsets and even plugged the controller into my PC to make sure it just happened to be my PS4. Even after replacing the previously purchased controller with another, the problem did not go away. If any of you are reading this and planning to use a wired headset, do not buy this controller. This is an issue with the software built into the controller and gets worse when trying to use the controller wirelessly. If you're looking for a controller that's built for competition and is also priced under $200, this controller is great. However, if you're using a wired headset, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
