So far so good. It took a while to arrive, shipped from Shenzhen with $30 discount. The box includes the device and a USB-C power adapter - no other cables, mounts or accessories are included. The Windows 10 Pro license will be activated automatically after you turn on the device and connect to the internet. First, you will be prompted to select and restart Windows System Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) in the System Preparation tool. This will reinitialize a clean install of Windows 10 Pro Build 20H2. M.2 NVMe 2280 is supported. Added a 1TB WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro with no issues. Before reinstalling, make sure you backup your device driver and save it to a flash drive for a hassle-free process. MeLE Quieter2 is fast, responsive, very quiet and loads quickly - of course with fresh Windows 10 and without malware. The USB connectors are "upside down" than usual, so don't forget to rotate them when connecting peripherals; Sample videos, music, and other test files can be found on the desktop or on the C: drive on first boot and before selecting OOBE. The device isn't entirely portable either, as it needs to be constantly connected to the included adapter. For now, the MeLE Quieter2 is good for typical desktop work and other projects like digital signage. The form factor (the size of a typical external drive) and the ability to expand for faster speeds (like NVMe support) and more storage are its main selling points. The decisive factor for me, however, is the price of the Celeron device. If they were cheaper I would probably have 3-5 of them for different projects, uses and experiments.
