Review on SRAM Supercork Bicycle Bar Tape: The Ultimate Grip and Comfort Solution by Brett Cat

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good bar!

This is a good damping band that works well if you want a little more isolation from road vibrations or a slightly larger stem diameter for comfort than the thinner option. The color selection is excellent. This tape has a very thin "glue" part, so you'll need to remove the paper covering it. If you haven't already glued the tape, remember that the more glue there is, the harder it is to glue. You need to stretch it before sticking it on the rod surface. This tape doesn't stick that well, which is good. If I didn't have duct tape handy (but I would have to get a roll and start with the duct tape), the SRAM bar tape would "peel" a turn or two, making it very easy to reattach, cut and seal the ends to seal . Descent. Because the adhesive on this tape is light, you can stretch it on the pole, which makes it easier for me to apply it in an even spiral. Sometimes I mix the color of the ribbon on my poles so the drops are the same color. and one more on top - resulting in a completely different and individual look. (You can also braid a ribbon - check YouTube for instructions). I really like using SRAM tape for this because it's flexible and relatively inexpensive. And it holds up well since it's a synthetic cork strap that's easy to clean.
