Review on 🚲 Bar Fly 4 Prime Aluminum Bicycle Accessory Mount: Adjustable Reach for Large and Small Computers - Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, Bryton, Cateye, Mio, Joule (Black) by Andrew Arneson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

At retail price I would consider K-Edge, it comes with many computer mount options

I chose between KOM, K-Edge, Garmin OEM and BarFly. Chose BarFly on offer and on the recommendation of colleagues. This option was also chosen because the markings are limited to the top half of the mounting arm. The other option has white markings and lettering on the sides, hinge, front arm and back of the hinge. .I wish the screw was self-retaining, but I designed my own washer to solve this problem. need this as I am switching between two bikes. It would also be nice to have a washer for 25.4mm (used one from my old GUB phone mount), not a big deal as the others are usually 31.8mm and 35mm. It's not tight and wobbles from side to side. I tightened the screws fairly tight and the mount still moves. I'm using an old GoPro camera with EIS and haven't noticed any noticeable shaking in the video, but it would be nice if the camera mount didn't move. It would also be nice if the locking bolt stayed in place. You can use masking tape or double-sided tape to prevent the screw from falling out when changing devices (I don't want to void my warranty by taping the mounting screw to the camera mount). Good range of computer mounts and action camera option, light mount and clip.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Poor repairability
