I ran out of the tonic I make using essential oils and some kind of organic antiseptic when I saw this on Revain. Everyone knows the nutritional properties of witch hazel: antibacterial, antiseptic, antimicrobial properties, narrowing of large pores and much more. This one also has rosewater, cucumber, and calendula as little stocking fillers! A real added bonus! Rose water is made from the extract of rose petals "like juice". Moisturizes and tones the skin, making it firmer and smoother. We know that cucumber can be applied to the eyes to get rid of those awful puffiness and dark circles and it soothes the skin. Calendula is a flower and its extracts are used to make essential oils, natural oils, hydrosols and more. All three are luxuries for your face, plus the witch hazel they're stuffed into. The price was great and it's organic so I wanted to try it. I will never part with it. I have already ordered another bottle! It has a spray nozzle so you can hold it about 4 inches from your face and spray all over your face. Then, with clean fingertips, you can lightly spread under the eyes and on the eyelids from bottom to top. Dries fast, doesn't want to dry, just absorbs in a second or two. When I write about "stocking filler" I remember not to get a few bottles of this potion for my daughters-in-law for her stockings. Yes, the adults in my house still have stocking liners.
