We have a couple of cats who, from time to time, decide to pee on a piece of furniture. (It’s not a medical issue, and they have plenty of clean litter boxes to use. Cats are just complex beasts who do weird things sometimes!) We literally used to put down TARPS when we weren’t around to protect our furniture. Yes, tarps. How ugly, and what a pain in the butt. We happened upon these blankets and decided to give them a try—total game changer! Now our furniture is protected in a much cuter, softer, more washable way. The cats tested the pee-proofness of the blankets once or twice, and they absolutely do work! Now they hardly ever pee on them, though, because now that we have a washable cover, there is no lingering smell for them to be attracted to and they lose interest. We still keep the blankets on just in case unless we have company over, and then we are able to take them off and enjoy our pretty, non-peed on furniture. :)
