May be good for small interiors

I was dismayed to find flaky white mold on the kitchen cabinets in my apartment (where I recently lived). I googled how to get rid of mold and every article talked about removing moisture with a dehumidifier. I had no idea such a small dehumidifier existed, but I'm very glad I found it. I run it during the day and it gets the job done as I can see the water building up. (I also have a Levoit air purifier to trap mold spores). It's pretty quiet. I don't normally use colored lights, but this is a nice feature. I am sure that this setup will solve this mold problem. UPDATE ************************************* I learned that the best way to get efficiency to evaluate A dehumidifier measures the percentage of relative humidity with a hygrometer. I did just that and found that while water collects in the dehumidifier tank, the humidity percentage in my kitchen doesn't change much. Consequently, this dehumidifier is not effective enough to meet my needs to reduce indoor humidity to a low enough level to prevent mold growth. However, in a small and enclosed space I find it useful.

  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
