*UPDATE* I returned this oil for a single reason. I only use the oil at night and while it smells great, the smell is too strong for me to use while sleeping. When my beard feels REALLY good in the morning after I put it on at night. Otherwise I support the rating below. *END OF UPDATE* - As the name suggests, don't let negative reviews influence your decision. This is really good stuff. It smells really good and takes care of my beard overnight. As for the QC reviews and it looks gritty? They are made by someone who doesn't understand the ingredients in beard products. Simply heat in the microwave on LOW power (I used power level 3) and watch until completely melted. Then let cool on the counter or in the fridge. It's not that hard folks. Now it's as creamy as... well, butter. Or ignore what it looks like and use it as is. It's still the same product and NOT gross. This is good stuff. Buy it.
