Review on Levi's Pleat Sleeve Trucker Jacket for Women by Amanda Lemons

Holy 80s Vibes Batman! This jacket looks like it has been transported from the past. With long pleated sleeves, a cropped length and an almost faded color, it's just stunningly different from what Robin Sparkles wore himself. I tried it on and was instantly 8 years old again when my mom warned me not to move as she used Aqua Net to spray my bangs to an unnatural height that hasn't been seen since. Seriously, all I need to complete my look are biker shorts and Reebok high-top sneakers. Jokes aside, this blue denim jacket is exactly the quality I've come to expect from Levis, despite being larger than most of their tops. For reference, I'm 5ft 7in, 165lbs, 36C bust and short torso, and I wear a US women's size 10 (Medium at Old Navy and H&M). I usually wear oversized Levi's jackets/shirts so I ordered this jacket in X-Large so it would be more roomy. I would be ok with a bigger one though as it is already an oversized fit. If I want, a bulky sweater or hoodie fits easily under this jacket. The combination of the cropped length, bright color and pleated sleeves gives it a DEFINITE 1980s vibe, so if you're looking for a more classic jacket I'd skip this one.
