I have worked with many softboxes (Wescott and many others) and am very impressed with the MagBox. Some of my thoughts are: 1) Quick installation 2) Good build and quality material 3) Sturdy 4) Versatile 5) Quality light output While it's expensive, I'd balance that with convenience if you're a photographer who carries and sets up a lot Gear. For me it was an easy decision. However, you need additional MagMod accessories to use it. Basically it's MagGrip so you can put your flashes in the MagRing. I hope that was helpful.
