Installed these lights around the perimeter of our pool. The end result looks fantastic and these lights appear to be very well constructed. It's not as bright as I would have expected, although maybe my expectations were a bit high. They are bright enough for almost any use case and would definitely recommend them considering the price! CUTTING THESE CABLE LIGHTS: Since I needed a very specific length for this job, I cut the cord to fit. As expected, once turned off, the light stopped working as the circuit was no longer complete. However, after a bit of research, testing, and some simple soldering, I was able to get them working after cutting. When cutting you will notice that there are 3 wires inside the pipe. Two of these wires must be connected to complete the circuit. I can confirm that there is no harm in connecting the wrong connections as I tested all 3 possible connections. After soldering the two correct wires, I sealed the remaining wire and coated the end and junction with silicone. Works perfectly!
