Absolutely perfect quality. There are no air bubbles in the paint, durable plastic. No cheap stuff in the X series. Here's what you need to know. The supplied probe is thin. I used a flathead screwdriver. Just be careful with wedging. The front panel is easy to manufacture. The button is hard. If you are a beginner like me, this will take a significant amount of time. If your joystick is in perfect condition after disassembly, don't panic. It will most likely work if you reassemble it like mine did. Xbox Series X and One X controllers are harder to unscrew than s controllers. These controllers have awkward screw holes on the bottom. This isn't a race, so if you feel like you're losing patience, go. Don't try to cheat things. I ended up fumbling with one of the controllers and trying to rip off the backing. The Xbox Series X was the most difficult to pry out of the three I've made. All buttons are perfectly installed, as from the manufacturer. If not, then it is defective. I made 3 controllers with 0 problems. The end results are worth the challenges ahead. It's not as easy as many claim, but it's not incredibly difficult either. It's somewhere in the middle depending on what you change. Buttons are tricky because you literally have to rebuild your own controller. The front panel, joystick, and D-pad are pretty basic.
