Blown out in 2 days, danger

I installed these bulbs two nights ago; Came to the car today and noticed the smell of burning in the cab. It turned out that one of the lamps was charred and the body and smell penetrated the cabin (see photos of the burned out bulb). I think the silver lining is that it didn't really catch fire or anything. The other bulb that was still on showed burn marks and was incredibly hot even after waiting several minutes to remove it. I ended up removing it with pliers. I have contacted the Revain seller and customer service regarding this issue.
