They're pretty bright, light weight and easy to assemble which is good for indoors (not so much for outdoors, TOO light even for strong winds). However, one of the bulbs that was delivered was defective and one of the lamps did not work. It was a simple fix - I unplugged it (an IMPORTANT STEP), unscrewed the two screws holding the cartridge in place and pulled it out. One of the two wires on the power cord has come loose from the base. If the same thing happens to you, just "plug" the loose wire back into the connector and tighten the screw to hold it in place (if you're not sure what that means, look up the still connected wire the other side and copy it that). I felt like it was just assembled in a hurry.
