I bought one of these beauties for a small planted aquarium about a year ago. Unlike some larger devices, this model has no fan and is completely silent. It creates a beautiful light that can be controlled with two buttons. One controls light intensity and the other controls color temperature. It was a nice addition, but lately it's started flickering on and off. After a little research I found out that this flashlight has a thermal protection circuit to protect against overheating. However, the light was not in a hot room and was not working at maximum power. Even on the lowest settings, it doesn't work properly. I contacted Kessil support and they responded a day later and provided all the information needed to request a warranty return. Two days later I had a new lamp. Great product and exceptional customer support. I also use some of their large lights in my large aquascapes and am very happy with their products and customer service.
