Based on what I have in my closet most of the stuff I have in 1 of these bags is between 6 and 8 cardigans. Despite being thin sweaters, I was able to fit so many sweaters into just 1 garment bag. Another bag fit about 5 of my daughter's dresses and there was still room in the same bag. The quality of these bags is much better than what I expected. The bags themselves are made of thick plastic and don't tear when you open the bags, even when you push through the many brackets. When it comes to zipping up these bags, the zip doesn't move after being pulled shut, or even starts to fall off, even when the bags are fully loaded with clothes. I've been using and moving these bags around in my closet for over a month now and they not only last but are still in great condition. They don't rip or tear and they still protect my clothes in these pockets.
