What I needed for TV Accessories

This is exactly what I needed. It goes into my basement, in front of the treadmill, etc. that open up to an open space with no walls around. My ceiling isn't finished yet so the beams are exposed which is nice. I need it to install over the joists. If this is your scenario so far, then this story is for you. There are no holes in the bracket 16" apart, so I cut a 3/4" x 9" x 23" piece of pine shelf and attached it to the joists with my own hands. The lag screws are about 1/2 inch longer than Vivo's to make up for the 3/4 inch loss when the screw goes through the pine board. It's probably overkill for a 17-pound 43-inch Roku TV, but I don't care. They don't need the full 9" width, but I need a 23" length for the main bracket (keyhole holes) to attach directly. through the pine board into the front joist, while the back end of the board runs just behind the back joist. And the front end comes to the front mounting holes. (Picture) Tip: I first pinned the board with a 1 inch picture - a hanging nail in each joist, just enough to hold it up, but it's easy to remove the board if ever needed. This made it much easier to drill and install 4 screws in 2 joists and hit the center of each joist. (pretty sure a screw on the back would suffice). Finally, I put my own 1" wood screws in all the other mounting holes. None of this is in the manual and details aren't included. And it works great. ignore the slow motion. It's even elegant. Very quiet. Also, I use preset 1 to fix it lift just enough for a 6ft 3" person to walk under (my ceiling is 8ft). Halves the move time. Preset 2 occupies it just parallel to the floor. It turns out that the "up" -knob (all the way up) goes a bit beyond parallel and relies on a physical switch to stop it. I don't want anything. Small complaint: I wish it went a little lower, but it's no big deal. Remote Radio frequency. I think the complaints about the remote 2 years ago or more were the IR remote. With IR you have to point at the receiver, with RF you don't. I haven't had any problems with mine (very early on). Well if the ENGINE like the others en stops, I'll come back to subtract a few stars.
