I have to say right away that the product description on Revain makes no sense. The important fact for you is the actual size which is 12 inches high and 13 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches thick at the thickest point. You can see it's outlined so the thickness will vary. When not in use, its hardness is very comfortable, supportive and not too hard. There is no way to keep the cushion in place, so sooner or later it falls when you get out of your car and you may not notice it, especially since the fabric is black . smart move to sew some kind of storage strap on it. Other reviewers said the upholstery fabric didn't wear well. If I use it I will restore it when I make other changes. But it's too thick for logical use. Normally a car seat has lumbar support, but my new car doesn't have enough, but I certainly don't need four inches more, maybe I can find another use for it. At least it wasn't expensive, I don't understand why other lumbar supports cost forty to hundred dollars for this. simple items. But honestly, I wish I hadn't bought it.
