I saw someone on social media using this and I thought HOW does it keep butter fresh?! Well, I don't know how it happens, but it is. Ever since I got mine, I've decided that I just can't live without it - ever! i love oil Real oil in a stick. But pulling it cold out of the fridge and putting it on toast just doesn't work - it's too difficult to spread. Smeared butter in soft baths just doesn't taste as good as REAL butter. Enter the oil ball. I confess I was skeptical. I live where it's VERY hot - how could the butter not melt and drip? Well it isn't. It's perfectly soft and lasts up to 3 weeks (my stick doesn't last that long). You simply soften the butter stick, let it sit for an hour or two, and turn it into a ball of butter (the stick fits perfectly). Then fill the base with exactly 1/3 cup of COLD water (I change the water every other day as directed). And you always have the perfect, delicious, soft butter. I am so incredibly happy with this purchase. Seriously, now I can't live without it! PS I was told to buy this ORIGINAL, not a fake. It was $25, a bit pricey, but well worth it. It's even beautiful - very white ceramic - a good gift. Love.
