I bought this sweater for my Persian cat with a silver chinchilla. My cat is 8 1/2 pounds but has a lot of fur. This sweater runs very small. I ordered a large and it looked like a small. I know that even if I ordered a very large size, it wouldn't fit my cat. He has a turtleneck sweater that you have to pull over your head. The hole is not wide enough. My sweater arrived with a very strong chemical smell. I hand washed them in cold water with Beekman 1802 laundry soap. This is the best soap, does not remove color and is very gentle on the fabric. I laid it out to dry. Helped get rid of the smell. The problem was still in size. I was dying to order another one because I loved the color. I didn't risk it because it takes some time to get your refund back. Maybe a size issue? Maybe he wasn't tall? Maybe it just didn't fit? It happens sometimes. That's why I gave him the score I made. I don't usually rate if it's bad. I understand that maybe there are other people with the same questions? I am not writing this to discourage people from buying this product. I just want people to know about the sizes. If they're worried about the smell, just wash them in cold water and dry flat. 🤗
