I have purchased this cable three times (twice 3m, then 1.5m) and each time didn't last more than a couple of months. The tips are made of a soft material that will inevitably flex, causing the headphones to stop picking up sound. Worse, bent tips can ruin audio connectors. I kept plugging the headphone cable into my desktop computer, thinking that somehow it would work again. It was only later that I noticed that the tip itself was slightly bent, causing audio issues, and trying to get it to work also messed up my PC's audio port. Considering I spent about $50 total on these cables and damaged my computer as a result, I don't think there's a situation where I would recommend them. The cost of time and money is too high.
