Updated - they don't last! Reliable performance

Updated March 21 I really liked these headphones. They were very comfortable. I've used them for most of the pandemic to walk my dogs and listen to audio books. BUT they died this week. Or more accurately, I died. I charged it to full, and now they've developed the most annoying "feature" - it works one side at a time. The right works for a minute or two, then the left, then the right again. It's so distracting I can't hear my books! I really want to buy another pair because they really were my favorites but surely they will last at least a year? Original 7/20 I would call them reliable. At the current price of $13, I'd call it a steal. The sound is decent. They hold a charge for a long time. I like that it's a voice and not a beep to turn it on and off. I like the little slider that lengthens/shortens the cord between the buds.
