Review on Bolt USB Rechargeable Bike Light by Cycle Torch - Enhanced Bicycle Light with LED Technology by Ahmed Rowe

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent daylight. Bright enough for most.

I'm an avid cyclist. I drive about 200 miles a week and commute to work as often as the weather permits for safe driving. In my time I have used many front and rear flashers and keep coming back to these little marvels for my rear flashers. First off, this is a great looking light. Nice metal body, solid and well built. The lens that works like a button leaves a lot to be desired, but it works. The included strap is strong and durable. Withstands good stretching. The light is also placed at a good angle, going up about 6 degrees. The flashlight screws onto the strap, so after depressing the suction cup, you can unscrew it to reveal the rear charging port. Charging is quick. The light turns faint red while charging and turns green when complete. Nice little gesture. I have notes of 20 hours of battery life in flash mode. I have not tested stable on and off. If you choose to remove the strap, there's a small bypass port for charging without unscrewing it. Pretty cool. Some things that have lost a property. the button above. Sometimes I ride the trail to the road. Before I go out, I like to turn on the light. The button doesn't feel good, so I often wonder if it's on. I then have to click a few times to get to the turn signal I want, but I'm never sure if it's on. After a year the button lost all sensitivity and I had to take it apart to regain at least some sensitivity. So this CT light loses a star. I would also like the location of the store as well as some of the other lights. They usually go over $50 so can't really complain.
